Joe Biden, Electrifying?
Good senator yes, but not exactly electrifying in my opinion. Just saw it on softball (MSNBC).

2. He is a compelling speaker -- he just didn't get any time during the primary
and I think he WOULD be electrifying to the ticket,
because he'd be willing to FIGHT BACK!

Give Joe the cattle prod! He knows how to use it!

20. The role is completely different as veep - he'd go after McCain, and that's important.

22. Yes It Is Important, But Clark Would Be A Much Better Attack Dog
Much better, and you gotta know that mcmummy will be playing up his military/POW stuff, and I just think it would help if a veteran, especially one who was wounded in combat, would be a really good thing.

Go Clark!!!!

4. I feel the same about some other possible picks.
Thankfully, the worst one apparently has no shot (not even vetted, and is reported to be tied up this weekend).

Then again, it could be a crafty, ruse.

5. Compared to Romney or any of the other Rethugs? HELL YEAH...
Biden knows how to kick ass and is extremely quick on his feet, verbose, and funny. Much like Barack actually, except more experienced but less careful with who he offends. Biden is not afraid to go after the Repukes. This is a HUGE improvement over Edwards in 2004, who basically let Cheney eat him alive.

6. Electrifying, but not a good senator.
I think his righteous thundering is the best thing he has to offer. He is a powerful, inspiring speaker.

He can hold the audience in the palm of his hands.

I'll find you a link if you will watch it.

14. Not so much electrifying as competent. He won every debate he was in during the primaries
and I assume Obama has a greater level of trust in his opinions and analytical skills as they served together on SFRC.

15. Yes he is.
Some of his speeches (about how poorly we treat our military, for example, and also his argument on the Senate floor against the surge) have me holding my breath.

If it's Mitt. I can't really think of a Republican VP who would scare me in a debate vs Biden...

to make him interesting to watch. Especially by the media.

31. Electrifying? Not even close to the word I'd use for Biden.
Good guy, good Senator. I just think the Dems have had a consisent problem with choosing the right candidates and VP choices. (Think Lieberman, Dukakis, Mondale, Kerry, etc.)

After George Bush and Reagan, you'd think the Dems would figure out that people respond to COWBOYS, even if they're FAKE!! (like Bush and Reagan) America likes cowboys and guys you'd want to have a beer with.

Biden is cool -- but I'd rather have a discussion about free trade with him, than a beer. He's too Dukakis for me (and I LOVE Dukakis, the guy is brilliant an principled, but eletrifying? No way)
