These are the Obama/Bayh stickers everyone's talking about...

First of all, they're hideous.

Secondly, where's the trademark logo?

Do you think it's possible this company's doing this just to get a little publicity for itself?

1. Based on how Obama runs his campaign, I doubt he'd let this happen.

3. I hope so, but maybe they are real. I mean, maybe they are red and blue to show the
unity thing Obama is always talking about.

No way.

These aren't real.

13. well, as I said in another thread about this that if there was a company charged with this
job they would have had to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

9. They're red, white, and blue -- pretty typical color scheme for political signage.

4. In all of Obama's merchandise...
...there is a " ' " before 08.

There isn't one on the sticker.

The serifs look different than Obama's official font.

I don't think it's the exact font. It's similar, but not exact.

Some people here have made up their own, which I think look much more plausible. This, for example:

11. Looks like a bad retread of some old Republican sticker
Though I can't really remember which one. No way in Hell that's an official Obama sticker though.

as a positive by campaign people in that there won't be any bombshells along the way.

14. They pre-print two different Superbowl winner t-shirts, too.
It's called getting ahead of the competition. They're probably printing Obama/Biden and Obama/Clinton stickers too.

15. I think the printer is just playing a prank.
The sticker doesn't look like the Obama style and the idea that the campaign would let the cat out of the bag like this seems far-fetched.

The printers are going to kick out the top 2-3 likely choices on spec. Once the announcement is made, the printers will try to sell the accurate stock ASAP to capitalize on the excitement.

26. I LIVE IN THE CITY WHERE THE OBAMA STORE MERCHANDISE IS PRINTED
Its in Greenville,Ohio-a small rural town of about15,000. This company printing those stickers is probably a knock off because Obama gave this company, Tigereye Design an exclusive 13 million dollar contract.

Would know better than to put Obama's name on a COMMIE RED background. Geez, talk about your basic dunce-cap psychological mistakes.

These are as phony as Republican fundraiser for charity.

In particular, check out the raggedy right edge of the final 'A' in Obama. :tinfoilhat:
