I mean, really.

An announcement on the weekend is pathetic.

I'd rather him keep it secret till he and his VP pick can walk out together during the convention.

1. That's what I wanted all along.
But I don't see what is wrong with a weekend announcement. The vast majority of people have the time to pay much more attention on the weekend. Who cares if the media "B teams" cover it? Seems like a nice FU to the MSM egomaniacs, if you ask me.

5. If a weekend announcement works well, then fine. But I'd really rather he wait till the convention
at this point.

Imagine how exciting it would be.

He's waited so long, it would be the smart thing to do in my opinion.

2. How would he explain his "guest's" presence on the stage with him tomorrow?
And how about his vow to notify his supporters first by text?

4. Any evidence he's making an appearance with the VP tomorrow?
Besides just more speculation? None that I've seen.

7. Well you're right. I don't think there's any official announcement from the
Obama campaign that the VP will be there. It's just being reported as a given. (Unless I missed the Obama camp's statement on this.)

Seriously, try google next time. It's everywhere.

"Obama, running mate to rally in Springfield "
http://www.suntimes.com/news/sweet/1116586,CST-NWS-sweet20.article

It appears it is from an anonymous source inside the campaign.

6. To keep his promise, he should just text it 30 minutes before the announcement when Bill is speaking
LOL

I love Bill, but you have to admit that would be funny.

8. I'm joking... I know I'm gonna get in trouble for saying it would be funny to interrupt Bill's
speech.
