Investigative Journalism in this Country is Dead.

It's plainly obvious that it is. What happen to real reporting? I'm starting to think that these "reporters" just log on from their offices to the Internet to get the "scoop". "Sources say..." "I'm hearing..." What they really mean is that they lifted the idea off some message board and are passing it off as legitimate scoop, but what they really got was the ramblings of some guy typing at his computer in his underwear.

NOBODY KNOWS who Obama will pick except Obama. I wish the "pundits" would stop fucking around and fucking up my euphoria.

2. There are still some 'topnotch' reporters out there but they are not mainstream media.

They work for small newspapers that cover news for small cities and communities throughout the country. These are the papers that are going to survive.

I have one reporter- Kathy Helms - who works for a paper in New Mexico who also sends copy for my Native Unity column and she cannot be beat. She always wins awards no matter what area she is in. People like Kathy will never make the "big time", but they really don't care. They love where they are and what they are doing. They are the Class A journalists!
