But- he's got to have an "attack dog" or someone who is anti-choice or has some other compromising quality.
According to what he has written, there are some things he really dislikes about politics. Although he recognizes the necessary evil of it, he does not much like the compromises in personal values in the name of electoral pursuit.
He has said repeatedly that he does not like the kind of vicious politics that some people are calling for. He would battle with the idea of choosing someone whose positions on things like choice and gay marriage do mot match his.
I am sure that this has not been easy for him.
