Imagine millions of people watching Obama speak when he's on FIRE the way he's been in his town hall
events lately! We know he's going to go on the attack in his Convention speech and we also know how great we all feel when he gets on a roll and starts ridiculing McCain and his policies! I predict the pundits will be praising him to no end wondering where that Obama has BEEN all this time. (He's been doing this, but not many people have seen him in action). He, unlike Kerry, IMO, will get a HUGE bounce and the speech will be a game-changer.

1. I just watched his session in Chesapeake, VA.
It was good.

But I wish he'd lighten up on the Southern preacher speaking style.

3. He was even better two days ago...
I think he's not purposely speaking in any style. He just adapts to his audience IMO. I'm sure he'll have just the right tone when he's slamming McCain.

6. Me, too. That was today. So many people don't watch streaming video of his THs, though,
like we do, so they don't know that side of him.

2. I've definitely been motivated by watching his TH meetings. The people are so excited!!
I agree with you. I can't wait to watch the convention on screen although I'd love to watch it from the stadium.

It will be completely inspiring.

5. Yup-and those crowds are nothing compared to what he'll have Thursday night...
there will be at least 75,000 supporters getting HIM fired up! And the Repubs. will try to ridicule his popularity "without substance," but I doubt that will fly after they see him for themselves.

7. watch the pugs try to turn it into a Triumph of the Will moment, except they
won't call it that...it'll be a sledgehammer reference to Nazi Germany

they've already been doing it on talkhate radio

just watch

they're going to try to do to that moment what they very successfully (and unfortunately, for democracy) after his speech in Berlin. that was the beginning of their super slime parade, with each ad, each utterance more despicable, culminating in the inexcusable, egregiously repugnant filty about Obama wanting to lose a war to win the presidency, which McCain himself referred to as a "prize" in one of his autobiographies....it's RECORDED, too! (audio):

http://kr.youtube.com/watch?v=6eKwTL8SwbI

that's a commercial, right there, with some nice videos of McCain's creepy persona to go with his words

8. That's what's confusing about recent polls
Obama continues to draw huge enthusiastic crowds to every appearance; McCain doesn't. I'm no expert on polls but something tells me the huge difference in the crowds and enthusiasm between the Obama and McCain campaigns will be reflected in November.
