McCain: ‘I don’t have to show I’m different from Bush.’»

In a new interview with Politico, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said, “I don’t have any need to show that I’m different than President Bush.” Though McCain drew “implicit contrasts” with the president during the interview, “he declined to outwardly criticize Bush and flatly stated that he wouldn’t do anything as president to underscore his difference with the unpopular incumbent.” According to a new CBS/NYT poll, 47 percent of voters believe that McCain will continue Bush administration policies — an increase from 43 percent in May.

2. Right...because he couldn't show he's different
than bush and that's why he's not going to get anywhere near the Fumigated White House in 2009 except to go there as a lying senator from Arizona(maybe).

3. And of that 47%--how many believe it's a BAD thing?
Seriously, McCain's just given Obama two gifts--the houses comment and now this.

4. Now I hope the Obama campaign pounces on it with a kick ass commercial.
We have to stop playing nice and kick his ass. I don't care if he was a POW 40 years ago. He is a lying asshole now! The American people need to know that. If they still vote for his ass then that is their problem. However, at least they won't be able to act like they did not know.

6. I don't want them to do it on one ad. I want them to pound him on every single
thing he says from this point forward. For instance, they should have pounded on him when he said he agreed with that lady about the draft.
