Put me in the Pro-Hillary VP crowd...
I had a post two weeks ago listing reasons why I am for Hillary as VP. Those of you who know me know exactly how harsh a critic I have been of Hillary and her campaign.... I have no love for the Senator. But she is what Obama, the party, and the country needs for VP at this time.

My two cents...take them or leave them, makes no difference to me. I just want to be recorded (again) so as to get to say "I told you so side."

12. Your mom should probably review the whole saying
Since her current version really doesn't make much sense.

5. I'm right alongside you in that crowd!
Actually, I was a Hillary supporter -- and when she dropped out and asked her supporters to move to Obama, I did. I figure that if I trusted her enough to lead the Country, then I have to trust her enough to support Obama as she has.

I think that ticket would be hard to beat. She's a fighter, she's got great credentials and experience in national security, and she was ahead in the polls in the states we desperately need. Who can deliver PA? Ohio? Virginia? That would be Hillary. Regardless of how some people on DU and other places treated her and her supporters (I had to leave here for several months because of it), Hillary was garnering nearly half the popular vote, and was ahead of McCain and Obama in key states. WHy the hell would the Democratic Party not see that? Baggage? Pfft. The media will create baggage where there isn't any, and overlook any Republican's baggage. We need a fighter and an inspiration... I've been kind of shocked that the Party would consider some of those stiff old white guys for a VP choice -- We need something to shake things up. Hillary and OBama would be unstoppable.

10. Put me firmly in the whatever we got to do to win crowd.
I'm not convinced on what Clinton brings to the ticket but I've been wrong before, will be again, and may be now.

It pisses me off to no end that anyone needs to be motivated or inspired when a quick look across the aisle and a bit of foresight should have you humping for Obama like your life depends on it (and it very well may) but whatever. I'm not a cult of personality guy and haven't a hook to even relate to it.

I like Obama as much and more than any candidate I've ever supported but sure as the sun rise, I'd spit in his eye and toss him right under the bus and probably my momma too, to win this election.

I care more about democracy taking a dirt nap than breaking any ceilings and make no mistake, this screwing around and emotionalism is putting the very concept at serious risk. That should be motivation enough for anyone and if it's not it would be wise to reevaluate your priorities and get a double take on what is at risk...fucking everything.

9. I really don't like Hillary at all
But at this stage of the game I think it's a smart bet to have both your heavyweights on the ticket.

Obama and Hillary both drew a ton of votes in the primaries. Those mentioned as front runners have worse baggage than Hillary.

13. Ill put you on my 'never got over the primaries' list
*lol*

It would be worth having her on the ticket just to see all of the bigots on this forum shitting their pants in collective agony.

Just my two cents worth......

14. I think it would be a really good ticket. The people who hate her

and won't vote for Obama if she is VP, wouldn't have voted for Obama anyway. She will excite more people about voting democratic than she would turn people away.

Plus, the Limbaugh-Clinton voters will be exposed and Hillary won't get to claim that she would have won had she been the nominee. This would mean a less likely chance of her turning her back on Barack in 20012 to run against him. In other words, I really think she will run against Barack in 2012 if she is not the VP.
