3. Ed Gillespie wins the Smarmy award, hands down.

I saw him on CNN with Anderson Cooper yesterday morning... he got all snarky over some meaningless segue Cooper made from one subject to another, touching off a minute-long interrogation BY Gillespie, directed AT Cooper.

It was like it was Gillespie's show and Cooper was a hostile guest. Absolutely bizarre.

There is just something really noxious and toxic about this man. He even looks slimy. If I didn't lean towards being non violent I think I would want to punch him.

When he's talking, his front teeth are always in view, even when he closes his mouth to form a word.

9. Imus had Gillespie on a while ago.

I heard Imus wondering what Gillespie did before this and no one seemed to know.

I knew Gillespie had been an Enron lobbyist, so I googled the info and e-mailed it to Imus.

Sure enough, Imus asked Gillespie about his background right off the bat, and Gillespie tried to finesse it.

So Imus starts saying... "Ed...Ed... you're leaving something out,"

And Gillespie still won't own up, so Imus had to just say... "one of your clients was Enron, Ed."

Gillespie tried to say... "oh that was nothing" But I enjoyed seeing him squirm immensely.
