Obama-Hillary 2008. Two attack dogs for the price of one: The Cerberus Principle
What more can we ask? It is now obvious that Obama needs Hillary as VP to assemble a Cerberus attack mode against McCain: Can you imagine McCain fending off Bill and Hillary. Forget about vetting Bill Clinton. America knows them and America does not really care about their past, we all know that. McCain and Rove may try to make Bill and Hillary the issue against Obama but that will only distract the GOP from attacking Obama. Bill and Hillary can then pivot and attack McCain as Bush III. They would make this election a referendum on the Bush years vs the Clinton years. People will tell me: What about Bill? Yeah, what about Bill? We'll worry about Bill after the election. We will have to win ugly, it is obvious now. Forget about a Snow White Campaign, it ain't happening. it will be all negative, negative and negative. Will it turn off the electorate? No, the elkectorate loves dirt dirt and more dirt. They do not care about clean and inspiring commercials. So we need Cerberus to go on the attack against McCain and bring Bush front and center.

Obama/Clinton 2008. Hide your children, Cerberus (Billary) is on the loose.

6. Hillary will not attack her "good friend"
who "brings a lifetime of experience" to the White House and whom she believes has "crossed the Commander in Chief threshold".

It's a pipe dream.

What makes you think she really, truly wants to derail McCain?

Why can't Bill Clinton make one positive statement about Barack Obama that doesn't include a complimentary shoe-lick of John McCain?

Personally, I think that it's President or bust for her. If she can't be prez this go-round, I believe in her (and Bill's) heart of hearts that they won't mind an Obama loss to give her another run at the real prize.

If people don't like hearing that opinion, too bad. I'm on board and I'm voting for the ticket - even if by some unfortunate turn she ends up on it. But I personally think she'd be happy to be an anchor around Obama's neck...though it'll be done with a smile and the appearance of being on the team.
