I Predict a Announcement Around 3-4 p.m.
He has a rally at 6:45 p.m. in VA where I believe he and his V.P. will emerge. I think we may get that announcement around this afternoon just in time for evening coverage.

Just my guess.

1. I don't know if it will be Kaine. Even many DUers have bought into Obama being too inexperienced...
And that he needs a Washington-insider to "balance the ticket".

I think that McCain, along with Russia and Musharraf, may have forced Obama's hand on this one.

3. For some reason, I just don't think Obama is allowing the media and what happened recently on the
international scene pick his V.P. I believe he truly believes he can go toe to toe with McCain on foreign policy. I think he is going with someone he feels comfortable with and who can help him govern. Biden's vote for the War is something I think he knows he will have difficulty with. I think it's Kaine. I could be wrong, however.

2. I think the Friday announcement should be taken as no later than Fri,
I think it's coming soon, as well.

4. I think the Friday thing was just a way to throw people off.
They want this to come unexpectantly and others, including Drudge, were putting out dates as fact. He didn't want Drudge and others to pinpoint when he would announce. It would give some credence to their reporting.
