Perhaps he has tipped off his choice. Who knows?

5. One would hope that the VP is a quick study and quick on their feet.
If I were a politician within shouting distance of being chosen for VP I would have had my speech ready and well-practiced for weeks. I hope that whomever he chooses has the ability to respond quickly to unexpected news, and this would hardly count as unexpected to any of the top 50 candidates.

18. Not to mention have people around that write speeches and be able to read a teleprompter.
Politicians don't really work very hard, honestly.

9. My guess is that the chosen one was notified the day Barack returned
from Hawaii. That's one of the reasons I think it's Biden. We all know how much Biden loves to talk! Even the talking heads were calling him "very loquatious" last night. Don't you find it very odd that we haven't seen or heard a WORD from him in over a week? Especially since he recently returned from Georgia. Don't you think he would have had a Presser to explain what he learned and give HIS recommendations? All I've seen is ONE SHOT of him walking across the tarmak or some parking lot in Georgia, and NOTHING SINCE!

20. Honestly, I haven't heard anything from him, so I'm not familiar with
an anti-Russky attitude, but in all fairness, if we as Dems hate Shrub for his Imperialistic actions, we need to hold Putin to the same level.

Balloons will fall. The band will play "Here's to the Winners." Not a dry eye in the house.

16. I wonder how the people who were picked on the very day they had to give that speech did it?
The VP used to be selected by the nominee by noon on the third day of the convention and then had to deliver an acceptance speech that very night.

Then the VP just needs to edit it and rehearse?

Imagine if Obama's pick is announced and then he or she says she doesn't want the job. Whoever it is knows for sure by now.
