Should I spend election night with Dan Rather?
He is hosting "Watch the election returns live with commentary from Dan Rather and political analysts. Snacks and drinks will be provided. An event not to be missed!" at the 92nd street Y. It is $27. What do you think? Worth it? (Assuming there are tickets left) Am I likely to know who won before I stumble out of there at whatever hour?

2. I'd go. Sounds like a terrific deal for $27.
Especially in Manhattan. But then, I really admire Dan Rather.

In a hearbeat!I would LOVE to do that. I was thinking how much I'm going to miss election night TV coverage with Dan and his homespun Rather-isms. Nobody does it like Dan. :woohoo:

10. I swear I thought the title was "Should I spend the night
with Dan Rather?" And I was gonna say sure, why not?

13. well as they say in Texas that would be like riding a horse bareback
nude in a hailstorm. Of course you have to spend the entire night trying to figure his Ratherisms and miss the election results entirely.
