“The insinuation from the Obama campaign that John McCain, a former prisoner of war, cheated
is outrageous." Nicole Wallace, McCain's spokeswoman.

Um - what does McCain's status as a former POW have to do with whether he listened to Rick Warren's questions on the radio on the way to the forum? Did he sit in the car saying, "DON'T turn on that radio! I can't listen to the questions I'm about to be asked! That would be cheating and I'm a former POW so I can't do that!"

1. When did Obama's campaign ever insinuate that McCheater cheated?
Andrea Mitchell didn't name her sources, and the official Obama camp statement made NO such insinuation.

2. Where has it come from the Obama campaign? I've only seen it referred to in the
MSM and on the blogs. And of course the quote itself is just so telling.

3. But in the next breath, a McSame spokesman said they broke the
forum rules. Seems as if they're having a difficult time getting their stories to mesh.
Either way, he lied, and I don't give a flip about his POW status; he's running for CiC. If he's lying to us now, you know the rest, and we have 8 years of examples to look at.

5. Is McCain playing the "card"?
So now we're expected to hold McCain to lower standards just because he's black?

22. But if Obama *EVER* mentions he's black...that's the race card
McCain can just keep on going "blah blah POW blah blah hanoi hilton blah blah POW POW" til the end of time. And that's OK - cuz he was a POW, damnit! Tortured for 5 1/2 years!

Color me sickened.

6. Faux just reported that the McCain camp sent a letter of complaint to NBC for Andrea Mitchell's
statement about Obama's campaign saying McCain may have cheated. They claimed she "threw objectivity out the window" with that statement, like she openly supports Obama. :eyes:

16. This is all I could find on that:
Edited on Mon Aug-18-08 10:58 AM by jenmito
Mitchell reported that some "Obama people" were suggesting "that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama. He seemed so well prepared."

23. Yep...
I've been waiting for this.

It's common knowledge that being a POW knocks the liar out of a person. There's no way a former POW would lie. Except maybe to their wife or something.

8. All someone has to do is show video of McCain LYING to a fellow veteran about his voting record
on veterans' rights. The guy named specific names/numbers of bills McCain voted against and he DENIED voting against them.

Poppy Bush working "Persian Gulf, Persian Gulf" into every sentence.

"Well, Tom, POW, I think that the Diamondbacks bullpen POW could stand some improvement POW, but the Dodgers, even with Manny Ramirez POW are vulnerable down the stretch POW".

25. Problem is, there's only 4-of-a-kind in every deck...
And it's pretty early for him to start throwing his aces around, don't ya think?

How many times can they throw this out there without cheapening the status the POW thing gets him?

and your penis winds up in the vajayjay of a blonde beer heiress 20 years younger than you when you're already married with 2 kids to a woman who was severely injured in an auto accident.

24. McCain already ADMITTED to cheating...
Edited on Mon Aug-18-08 11:34 AM by Kristi1696
On his first wife.

So let me get this straight, because McCain is a former POW he cannot be accused of cheating. And when he admits to cheating, he furthermore can't be blamed for it?

Wonder what else he thinks he's entitled to get away with.

30. Now it's the Obama campaign....This is reminiscint of the Primaries with HRC---everything seemed to
be the Obama camp or their people insinuating that something was going on when really this was the MSM.

How does the MSM come out as innocents in all this?!

31. And the idea that John Sidney McCain III, POW, cheated on his wife and helped Charles Keating
with his bank swindles-- that's just outrageous too !!

Truth is more painful than fiction.
