McCain goes to Colombia and some hostages get released...

McCain SEZ there's no connection, but still, he's there when it happens, so his name is (very loosely) linked with the event.

Later on....

While Obama is on vacation, (and, coincidentally, while Bush hobnobs with Putin),

Georgia provokes Russia and McCain gets to act Presidential....Holds a couple of press conferences, talks tough.

"Its a grave situation, escalation!! Russia's long term plan: I knew!! I knew!!"

BUSHY waited until AFTER MCCain made a couple of Reaganesque statements before HIS little speech...

Before Condy was done shopping, McCain claims he'll dispatch Lieberman the traitor and that other sucker to Georgia......

McCain didn't DO anything but hold a couple of tough talk express press conferences.....

The luck is pretty amazing, getting to free hostages AND restart the cold war. An extension of the original cold war that made it possible for him to get shot down and become a......"hero"

The coincidences are amazing. If I had that kind of luck, I'd be in Vegas.
