Obama Nation is not just a book from Mr. Corsi but part of a smear campaign
Edited on Sun Aug-17-08 04:04 PM by Botany
Sure Corsi is a right wing liar for hire but his book is a way to spread lies about
Barack Obama but at the same time "keep your hands clean."

Fox News' Sean Hannity can now bring up the lies about Obama by now saying,
"Well it has been written that Obama is ....." Or O'Rielly can go on about how
"We have to look into these charges because we are fair and balanced." And then
the lies can be repeated and repeated non-stop. Also it is good old Mary Matlin
who is the publisher of Corsi's book and she is a direct link to Creative Response
Concepts the real power behind the "right wing slime machine."

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.
The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the
political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important
for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of
the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Joseph Goebbels quote

1. "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."
Stated another way: "Perception is reality."

2. CRC Public Relations
Creative Response Concepts
From SourceWatch

Creative Response Concepts, an Alexandria, Virginia-based public relations firm, "has many links to the Republican Party and the conservative movement," Eric Boehlert wrote September 10, 2004, in Salon.

"Among its clients are the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee and National Republican Senatorial Committee. Its client list also includes the Christian Coalition, National Taxpayers Union, Media Research Council and Regnery Publishing. Regnery is the firm that published Unfit for Command, the SBVT screed against Kerry's military record," Boehlert wrote.

"Interview requests for CRC's clients are routed through the main switchboard at a single telephone number; extensions 108 and 110 at the same number handle Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, while extensions 109 and 130 are for the Judicial Confirmation Network," Todd Johnston wrote July 5, 2005, in ePluribus Media.

3. Remember "The Crying Game" moment for Mrs. Alito?
Those mean democrats and their mean questions made this poor
women cry ... those devils!

Well it turned out that Lindsey Grahamn was questioning Alito @ the time and a Creative
Response Concept "handler" was sitting next to Mrs. Alito @ the time and gave her a
cue to start the "Water Works."

Guarantee you that C.R.C. is working overtime on Obama right now. The company is a rats
nest of former media people who get paid lots of money to plant stories in the media and
to get all the "right wing talking heads" their talking points for the day.

and is available for interviews, along with other former Alito clerks who know her personally
and are very upset about this development."

4. Someone has already damaged all the books on the shelf at the bookstore I was just at!

You would be surprised what pouring dark ink down the top of the book into the pages does to all of the books.

Evidently, no one was overly interested in the book or the store would have noticed it!

But every single book is completely damaged by soaked-in ink being dumped from the top pages, that seeps right down through the whole damned book.

And don't you dare even think about it ...........

NO, it was not me.

First of all, I'm a good girl..

And more importantly, in the job that I have.. if I ever got caught doing something like that -- I'd be toast BIG TIME!

5. We did a better job taking on Corsi this time than we did the last time
The GOP made the mistake of using the same asshole two elections in a row. Also the last time there were people willing to be co-authors to lend their credibility to the smear so when we went after Corsi they could say he was just a contributer.

GOP operates on the scientology book buying model for Dianetics. Have big money supporters buy lots of book. Get the book on the best seller list. Talk about how everyone is buying the book. The only difference is the GOP distributes the books to fundies for free where Scientologist sell the books they bought back as new inventory to the bookstores.
