ANY chance it might still be Jim Webb?
I know he's a loose cannon, I know he took himself out, but with a veterans theme on Wednesday and Warner giving the keynote, it crossed my mind. There is nothing better than rampant speculation with no basis in fact, and I am happy to do my part.

3. unlikely. But I waved at him this morning!!
He lives down the street from me and he just moved back in to his house after an extensive (an extended) remodeling job. He was outside in the driveway with his daughter when I drove by, so I gave him a wave. We're hoping he has an open house and invites the neighbors!!

4. Nope.
He's made it abundantly clear that he's not interested.

6. But don't they all
make it abundantly clear that they aren't interested? Hell even Biden said he wasn't "interested" in the job, but only that he would take it if offered. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he will be either, but experience shows that no one says they are interested in the job.
