Does Biden's absence from the media lately make it more likely that he's the one?
I remember when DUers used to complain that he was on the Sunday shows every week. He hasn't been lately, nor anywhere else that I've seen. I love Joe, but he's never been a shrinking violet.

Why's he keeping a low profile and what does it mean?

6. He could be on an overseas SFRC trip or on vacation
They often do that very quietly. He might also being taking a vacation as the Senate is not in session.

7. He's actually in Las Vegas
addressing a firefighters convention on behalf of Obama. Don't know if that means anything or not. I know Biden has always been a big supporter of firefighters (who isn't really?) so that may be why he was chosen to address the group.

8. Great to hear.
I'd love to hear him as a surrogate on the Sunday shows, especially with this new book that's out and the whole Georgia thing. Say what you will about him, he's not shy. We desperately need someone to stand up to this ##@@$$%% that McSame and co. are putting out.

10. I saw his pitch to a firefighters union when he was running for President.
He was passionate and you could tell he REALLY cared, so I'm happy that they'll see someone like that accepting on Obama's behalf. They'll know they're backing the right guy.

9. Yes. It does even to me who thinks it will be Hillary.
Also, Keith Olbermann believes it will be Joe.

He's great on foriegn affairs and is Catholic and will help Obama with many of the voters where Obama is not polling well with.

And he is great in debates.

11. I hope it doesn't mean anything. I would vote for an
Obama/Biden ticket, but without much enthusiasm.

Biden's a moderate, longtime Washington insider who voted for the war. Can't we do better than that?

12. Biden would be okay, but I prefer a sure win with Hilary or Clark. I
hope it is not Bayh because we will likely not get another Senator from Indiana who is a dem.

24. Yes, I think they've been saving him back, and he's started his VP duties.
Appearing at the union function for Obama is the first thing he's done in a while.
