O'Reilly Tries Intimidation To Get Obama On The Factor
Bill O'Reilly's Talking Points, 8/13, was a message to Barack Obama about what might happen if he doesn't appear on The Factor. BOR brought up Corsi's book claiming it is #1 because Barack Obama has refused to define himself so people will seek answers in Corsi"s Obama Nation. As the TPM continued, it sounded more and more like O'Reilly was channeling Tony Soprano warning Obama to either come on his show or suffer the consequences.

On one hand, O'Reilly tried to play down the potential power of this 2008 attempt to swiftboat Obama comparing Obama Nation to Scott McClellan's recent book about the Bush administration.

On the other hand, he made sure to note that it was #1 on the NYT Bestsellers List because people have not been given access to Obama's true self. There was no mention of Obama's memoir, Dreams from my Father, as an excellent source of information for curious voters. Even Jerome Corsi seemed to like Obama's book since he frequently used it as a source.

Then he made his pitch saying that Barack Obama had promised to come on The Factor after the primary. " He looked me in the eye and patted me on my shoulder." He warned that " the dance has been going on much too long" and "what am I to think?... " As a journalist and a voter I would like to know why Barack Obama is so hesitant about defining himself?"

3. Don't do it Senator Obama.
Just ignore him and do not give him legitimacy. Bill is not a journalist and he will do whatever it takes to make Obama look bad. I personally do not think ANY Dems should go on that network at all. It always pisses me off when they do. Just say NO to Faux News.

5. When I catch a D on Faux...(no, I don't tune in deliberately, I
occasionally see Wes Clark or another D while I'm passing through the channels and stop for a minute), inevitably, they tear holes into whatever POV the R leaning chump in the interview is trying to unload on the public. I think Clark is one of the best at ripping Faux to shreds, he errs rarely, and calls it like he sees it. kind of flusters the opposition, ans they have nothing but crap to throw out there anyway...;)

4. O'Reilly is a hack not a journalist...even if he has some
"credentials", he has as much integrity as a bowl of lukewarm spit.

Persaonally, I'd love to see Obama decline by stating he's not going to foul his shoes by stepping into the crapfest O'Reilly spews each day/night. O'Reilly is little more than a 10cent bully wearing a $500 suit...what would he say to Obama, "Hey 'MF', want some iced tea"?
