Did you learn any lessons in 2004?
I learned that I can't take the burden of the entire campaign onto my own shoulders.

John Kerry did, too.

What did you learn?

1. I learned that I never lost any respect for John Kerry; he is quite an
American, and a great spokesman for Sen. Barack Obama.

I learned that we had better vote in droves for Obama, for all of us. Obama will win if a major majority votes for him, despite the best attempts by the cheaters.

22. Yep. Especially after the last Dem president used his summer2004 book tour to support Bush
and defended his decisions on terrorism and Iraq war from the critics on the left being led at the time by our Dem nominee.

Some powerful Dems were working to protect Bush and keep an open government Democrat like Kerry out of the WH so he would not access documents from IranContra and BCCI that he long wanted to make public to the American people.

He who votes decides nothing. He who counts the votes decides everything.

10. I thought we learned that in 2000.
Who could forget that lesson?

Thanks for replying to my post.

13. Well, some did in 2000. But only a few.
It became much more obvious in 2004. And again in 2006. Some people still refuse to believe their own "lying eyes", so our job is not yet finished.

N.G.U. Never. Give. Up.

18. We NEEDED a DNC chair who learned that lesson in 2000 so 2002 and 2004 wouldn't be stolen - instead
we were stuck with Terry McAuliffe who sat on his hands and watched RNC and GOP officials gain even moree control of the election process at every level where the votes are allowed, cast and counted.

8. I learned that I was right about Howard Dean
We should have picked someone who was speaking the blatant truth, not someone who had military experience as a way to trump Bush's. Anyone remember Dean's "What I want to know" speech?

19. I learned elections are set up to be stolen every day for FOUR YEARS before election day.
Much of the election fraud has been institutionalized by GOP officials state by state as they had no Dem party muscle challenging them at all from 1995-2005.

17. It's nearly impossible to beat an incumbent in "a time of war"
Though the public determines what a "time of war" is. See Churchill, 1945.

20. Not to get emotionally invested in a candidate. It has worked
very well for me.

In addition - Americans care more about charm and personality than knowledge EVEN when it comes to choosing a President.

21. I learned that a psychopathic asshole can be 'elected', no matter who his opponent.
As long as the media and the voting system are not fair and honest. A part of me doesn't want to get too excited about Obama because I've lost hope that the best man can win. I don't trust anything.

24. I learned
that voting machines are rigged and votes are stolen and that Mr. Rogers is dead and there is no Santa Claus.

I learned that Karl Rove is able to rise from the dead every 4 years and that fuckwit Republicans will vote for McCain no matter how demented he is.
