CBS’ “Face the Nation” — Gov. Tim Kaine, D-Va., and Karl Rove, former deputy chief of staff to President Bush.

NBC’s “Meet the Press” — Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.

CNN’s “Late Edition” — T. Boone Pickens, chairman of the energy investment fund BP Capital and creator of an alternative energy plan; Sens. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Carl Levin, D-Mich.; Govs. Ed Rendell, D-Pa., and Charlie Crist, R-Fla.; New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg; Housing and Urban Development Secretary Steve Preston.

“Fox News Sunday” — Rick Davis, John McCain’s campaign manager; Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill.; Amy Zantzinger, White House social secretary.

4. Richardson ,Kaine and for the GOP Jindal, auditions for VEEP?
I wonder if a strong performance by either of the Democrats could advance their causes. Neither of these governors is exactly known for lighting up a TV screen. In Richardson's case this flaw pretty much doomed his run for president despite his strong qualifications.

If he can pull of a strong performance who knows?

As for Jindal, he's pretty much an unknown. I still think he's a longshot because I really doubt that the racist wing of the GOP are going to vote for an Indian guy, besides, he'll look like a teenager hanging out with Grandpa next to McCain.
