PROGRESSIVE CENTRAL at the DNC CONVENTION
I would like to invite everyone who is going to be in Denver to come visit me and the PDA staff at Progressive Central.

PROGRESSIVE CENTRAL at the DNC CONVENTION

Join PDA and The Nation in the heart of Denver at the Central Presbyterian Church, 1660 Sherman St.--a progressive oasis, where like-minded individuals can meet to network, share ideas, learn from the country's foremost progressives, and help build the progressive movement.

The week starts with PDA's Progressive Welcome to Denver event on the evening of Sunday August 24. Community building, speeches, and music. Suggested Donation: $15.00.

The Nation Conversations Series, moderated by John Nichols, takes place each morning M-Th, and is free and open to the public. After lunch ($12.50, sold at cost), the PDA panels will begin. Suggested donation is $10.00, includes both panels and guaranteed seating.

For a suggested donation of $125.00, you can reserve a five-day event package and receive preferential seating at all events, lunch, a tote bag containing a PDA travel mug and other items from supporting organizations.

Paid parking is located nearby; but we recommend public transportation, visit http://www.denver.com/transport/masstransit.html

Check back frequently for additions or changes to panels. Panelists are still confirming availability.

For more information or to make a hardship request, contact Denver@pdamerica.org.

1. How I wish I could afford to go and had the time away from baby
sitting the great grandchildren. Many of us need DUers to keep us up on EVERYTHING. It would also be nice if handouts were available on line at some of these events.
