For your adulterous affairs with at least 2 married men (the current designated father is also a married father of two!)! SHAME ON YOU

Oh... :hide:

3. Shame on her, yes.
Shame on her for sleeping with a married man.
Shame on her for taking a job she wasn't qualified for.

But, until there is some DNA to prove that child is not John's, I can't say she was having 'affairs'.

If the child is not his, why was John visiting? If he doesn't love her (his words) and the child can't possibly be his because of the time frame (again, what he said) than WHY was he there?

(all of it absolutely justified, imo) and I see no problem with mentioning the other idiot in the equation. Of course, she wasn't running for president.

39. no it's not 'always the womans fault'- but it is equally her
responsibility-

She knew damn well John was married- and she knew what she was doing to Elizabeth and the Edwards' children. She could have kept this from happening just as much as John could have, and she didn't.

So she owns her share of responsibility. Simple as that.

6. She isn't even an attractive woman...
Elizabeth Edwards is incredibly beautiful, so much prettier than this hag.

I really can't imagine what John was thinking, but his little guy was doing it for him at the time, apparently. :eyes:

And, Elizabeth is smart, has a good sense of humor, and is a kind person. No contest, in my opinion.

47. it isn't about looks or what kind of person Elizabeth is,
there are very attractive women who don't have sex with married men (unless the man's their husband) or cheat on their husbands.

When you make a promise to be faithful and you break it, you are wrong. And when you get involved with a married man, you are a willing participant in hurting another person.

It isn't about looks or personality- it is about self control, and caring about doing harm to others.

What a world, what a world.

55. And the bit about Edwards' staff member being the true father
is very odd:

Hunter identified Andrew Young (married father of 2), Edwards' campaign finance director, as the father of her then-unborn child.

Wouldn't that mean that Young and Edwards were sleeping with her around the same time or even...nevermind... but, more power to her, that sounds fun, but sheesh, not when they know each other!

I'm not really shaking my finger at Edwards' morality either.

But if we're going to attack McCain based on his affair with Cindy, then Edwards "private business" should also be fair game.

If Edwards business is off limits, so should McCain's business be off limits.

people tend to just heap scorn on Angelina Jolie, even three years after the fact, instead of Brad Pitt, when he was the married one. He always seems to get a free pass and she gets (usually) women acting like they're after her head.

GMAFB. They were two consenting adults who conducted an affair. Equal blame. And personally, I'm finding it difficult to even care about this. So why am I posting in this thread? Good question.
