Drill! Drill! Drill!
In an era of $4 gas it isn't too surprising American support for expanding drilling offshore and to wilderness areas has jumped to http://money.cnn.com/2008/07/30/news/economy/poll_drilling/index.htm?postversion=2008073012">majority support. In an era of right-wing Fox News it is even less surprising they would exploit this fact to bash Obama and prop up McCain.

Huge shock the conservative spin doctors on Fox & Friends have featured this topic. They had a nice chat with Newt on drilling. I'm sure you've heard of Newt's latest http://www.americansolutions.com/">campaign to promote domestic drilling. They had a nice chat with Mitt who used the opportunity to lie about Obama's position on the topic. He smiled ear to ear as the words rolled off his forked tongue. They had the master of Republican euphemisms, Frank Luntz, expound on the topic over 2 segments. In the spirit of "fairness and balance" they included Robert Gibbs from the Obama campaign who they pressed on the issue.

I'm sure I've missed some of Fox & Friends colorful spin on the topic. You can't keep good propagandists down.

Brace yourself because as McCain continues to choke on Obama's dust in the polls Fox News is going to feel squeezed harder than ever to force the election into the right direction. And right now they think screaming "drill, drill, drill" through a megaphone is their best shot.

2. Off the coast of Fla.
Already the Swartzenator has declared his coast off limits. If the Floridians don't do the same, I will go postal. I am going there to spend my golden years and now they want to ruin the paradise that is the west coast of Fla. Never, I say never!!!!!!!!

3. McCain to relive a 3rd Bush term?
"The issue also makes for a fascinating family drama since the president's father, President George H.W. Bush, signed the order banning offshore drilling, while his brother Jeb more recently opposed such drilling when he was governor of Florida." - http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/19/bush.mccain.energy/index.html">CNN

Interesting to note. Jeb and Pappy Bush were opposed to drilling. Gee Dubyah, however, is for it big time.

McCain who is running from the notion he'll reenact a 3rd Bush term just made a circle ending up in Dubyah's arms once again.
