What's the tradition of former presidents speaking at conventions?
Did Carter speak at 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, or 2000?
Did Clinton speak at 2000 or 2004?

9. I think it's mixed
But Obama really needs especially Hillary to speak. Without her, we lose. We may lose anyway, but why try?

7. Clinton spoke in 2000 and 2004. I think Carter spoke in 2004 as well.
I do not know for the previous years.
