Anyone see the code words in Obama team's response to the new Celeb ad?
"Another day brings another dishonest attack from John McCain," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said. "It's time to retire these old policies and bring new energy to America."

Maybe McCain will get his dander up over this ad too and say something stupid (I'm pretty sure he'll say something stupid no matter what;) )

9. Well, "Bring it on," would have given her too much credibility.

5. Yes, I do...
...and it's pretty crafty.

“Retire, old, new energy”

And there will be those “among us” who will rail about the insensitivity and meanness of those choice words, but they're phrased with such care that a direct, angry response from McCain's people would probably scan as a gross overreaction. Which would be marvelous.

I'd have loved to see the secondary choices.

“America...we just don't have time for these scattered, unfocused attacks by John McCain. But it appears he simply can't help himself as his campaign is slowly degenerating into something sad and unrecognizable. As for the ads themselves? Well...they're full of you-know-what. Does John McCain have any control over that?

Well...Depends™” :)

6. They can get crafty with this idea lol
Senator McCain again stumbles into more negative rants. While Barack Obama will bring new energy and strength to the Presidency, Senator McCain will bring the same, old, tired politics we have known for far, far too long. It's time for Senator McCain to retire his cynical old view of politics and reflect on his past decisions.

12. hitting them where it hurts!
If McCain responds forcefully, Obama can just throw up his hands and claim that McCain is playing the Age Card.... Sucks when the Repugs methods get used against them, doesn't it?

17. Didn't he do that with his appearance on SNL.
When he made all those jokes about his age? I mean if Obama played the race card by saying that he was different, does it not say the same for mccain's old man statements?

10. Or as Ronald Reagan would say "There they go again"
It is so good to know we finally have a campaign team that can talk the one liner punch style thrusts that are most effective.
