So... what medals did John O'Neill receive?

We don't hear much about them.

And the big question is, did he deserve them?

7. BTW Nixon sidekick Coulson hired John O'Neill to smear Kerry.
"John O'Neill, a navy veteran cultivated by Charles Coulson (disgraced and jailed Watergate burglar)for Richard Nixon specifically to destroy John Kerry, who Nixon felt was a threat to his policies on Vietnam, specifically the prosecution of the war and Vietnamization. O'Neill was briefed by Nixon, Kissinger and H.R. Haldeman and was then sent out to famously debate Kerry on the Dick Cavett Show"

9. Here's a better article
I've been searching on Google for info on O'Neill's personal military commendations, but have had no luck so far.

Here's a good article about O'Neill's relationship with Nixon:

Lieutenant Colonel Robert "Buzz" Patterson, United States Air Force (Retired).

Since his military retirement in 2001, Buzz has rapidly emerged as a vitally important voice for our military within the larger framework of American politics.

As the author of two New York Times best sellers, Dereliction of Duty: How Bill Clinton Compromised America's National Security, and his recent release, Reckless Disregard: How Liberal Democrats Undercut Our Military, Endanger Our Soldiers, and Jeopardize Our Security, Buzz has established himself as a respected, frequently requested voice for the conservative movement. An insightful writer, he has the unique ability to factually cut to the chase while artfully telling the story of the sailor, soldier, airman and Marine. He is the national security columnist for the respected conservative weekly Human Events Online and can be seen and heard on talk shows and news events across the country.

As a career Air Force pilot seeing combat duty in far flung locales such as Grenada, Bosnia, the Persian Gulf, Somalia and Rwanda, and serving as military aide at the right hand of President Bill Clinton, he has impeccable military bona fides. As the Air Force Aide to Clinton, he carried the "Nuclear Football," the most important piece of luggage in the world.

With his highly decorated military career and his meteoric rise in the world of non-fiction writing, Buzz has established himself as the conservative movement's new spokesperson.

Did he deserve HIS medals? Was he nuts and disliked by the troops like the GOP enablers say Wes Clark was? Let's find some dirt.
