Freeps-A-Feudin' Over Being Left Off The GOP Platform
Edited on Mon Aug-23-04 06:20 PM by K8-EEE
Get the popcorn -- it's Hatfield & McCoy time, yep, fun Freep squablin' over the undeniable TRUTH that the GOP are completely ashamed of the likes of them, and don't want us normal people being scared by them. LOL!!

I don't know about you but nothing makes my heart sing as much as seeing this party implode. I think the RW Christians are gonna be dissed and plenty pissed bout it. YAY!!

All their primetimers at the GOP fest are pro-choice, gee a couple of them are Catholic, I wonder why nobody's getting the bishops to deny them communion and all that crap?? HYPOCRITES!

2. Well, They Really AREN'T....
GWB is going through our money like a CA wildfire, throwing it the Iraq sinkhole & lining corporate pockets with no thought to the deficit...

so conservatives are pissed.

He doesn't want swing voters, who mostly favor government out of our lives, being freaked by saying they want to criminalize abortion. Time to use their own rhetoric on them: BUSH CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!! Does he want make it a crime for a woman to get an abortion in the United States? What if she goes to Mexico or Canada to get one -- can she be tried as a "murderer" when she gets home? They need to remind people that when abortions were illegal there were STILL plenty of them. Declaring them illegal would make for LATER TERM and more dangerous abortions AND give organized crime back another black market.

5. Do They KNOW They're Fascists??
I saw one of the freeps say something like, don't worry if GWB has to put off some of our goals in the short term, he is really working on a 20 year plan, and part of that plan is to end the democratic party.

Coulter said the same thing -- they want one party rule, they're truly a bunch of freaking FASCISTS!!

7. But Robertson Said Bush Would Win In A Landslide, GAWD SAID!
But that was when Gawd thought Howard Dean would win the nom. Then Gawd changed his mind a little on the landslide part, according to Pat R. SERIOUSLY HE SAID THAT!

6. Bush doesn't need to worry, they vote for whoever they are told to
Edited on Mon Aug-23-04 06:31 PM by Democat
With very few exceptions, fundamentalist Republicans do what they are told. No matter how badly Bush ignores them, they will vote for who their religious leaders tell them to vote for.

That's one reason they win, because they have so many fundamentalist sheep on their side.

8. Not only that, but the GOP spread the meme "Kerry Catholics" to condemn
his stand on choice and gay rights. Now they feature "Kerry Catholics" as their strongest appeal to the public, Giuliani, Pataki and Schwarzanegger.

Freeps are too stupid to know they are just pawns to the fascist elite who manipulate them.

9. Here's an interesting little post from your link.
Principles are no longer part of the Democratic political machine. It has been commandeered by monied political opportunists who would use corporatist ideals if it helps them maintain raw political power.

Just look at the propaganda they use to justify their amoral stance in #2.

Looks identical to some of the posts here, yet it was made there -- with a little cheating on my part. I changed "GOP" to "Democratic," and "socialist" to "corporatist," and there you have it. They squeal about the same things people here do, just from a different direction. Of course, the one guy there who cries because the platform isn't going to be wingnuttish enough for him gets shut down in a hurry by the pragmatists; here, his mirror image can get a thread of a hundred posts from a dozen different posters going attacking the Democratic Party for not being extremist enough.

10. Never thought I'd empathize with a freeper
but some of us anti-war people feel pretty much the same about the Democrats.
