OK!!- NO, He's Not "Ready to Lead"
He IS leading.

While McCain stammers and struts and throws mud and temper tantrums, Obama is drawing people together and leading us towards victory in November and a better future for the coming 8 years.

While McCain was complaining and posturing Obama demonstrated how an effective Leader interacts with the world at large- showing respect, dignity, and interest in the other Nations which share this planet. He didn't go around arrogantly, he conducted himself with grace, and spoke to our neighbors in an articulate, relevant engaging manner, encouraging all of us to find ways to coexist in more peaceful and responsible ways.

So, no Mr. McCain, you ask is Obama ready to lead? I say he's gone past 'ready' he's doing what you only talk about doing.

And his actions in this campaign outshine yours as greatly as his ability to use words well.

Our country needs a genuine leader, not some animated 'action figure' from a tragic regrettable war who only offers us more of the same.

4. Perfectly put! And he's always said WE have a part to play, too ...
He's a "grassroots up" kind of leader, not a "top down"
manager who dictates the terms and then expects others to
follow. He's a REAL leader, not a caricature ...

5. And McCain will never be ready
Eight years ago he was on the downhill side of his undistinguished public career and was rejected by the Republican Party. He lost to the man who would soon become the worst president ever. His recent gaffes and pathetic public persona show a man in decline who will only slide further under the pressures of actually having to lead.

7. The latest attack ads actually prove his leadership abilities--being able
to get people to like you, repsect you, and want to hear what you have to say. I'm sure McSausage wishes he could have those leadership qualities too, but alas.

8. I think Obama's trip put "The Old ONE" over the edge last week
He has been reduced to sucking his thumb, holed up in his plane with the curtains closed with a Budweiser.

9. Thanks all!-
I appreciate the encouragement. Think I will make this a LTTE to my paper.

We are headed for better times. Not necessarily easier, but better for sure.

:hi:
