I just don't get it somebody help me..
the people who are catching hell won't vote for Obama because of his color. I guess they can't see what is going in the economy and who has been in the senate for 25 years and done nothing and which party has fucked up the country...

That is what I was expecting to be talked about throughout the campaign but the media wants it to be about race. Are some of these people going into foreclosures, not getting healthcare, losing their children in an occupation, homeless, paying high gas and heating prices because Obama is black. They seem to want more of the MCSAME..

2. I don't get it either. I am just lost today.
All of a sudden, after all this time, everyone has noticed that Obama is a BLACK MAN! What a bunch of shit. These people on television news are like carnival barkers. I am so sick from this. My country is hung up on the color of a man's skin in the 21st Century! I am so ashamed.

4. Unfortunately it seems
most folk only look at M$M media and don't seem to think for themselves. M$m is clearly for McShame so the sheep just play along and many will vote against their own interest. Unfortunately their stupidity may have dire consequences for all of us.

10. It's a sight to behold isn't it?
The fact that we've allowed Bush to run this country in the ground for eight years speaks volumes about our society. It seems folks would rather watch American Idol than take a look at what's going on around them. If this economy keeps tanking - they'll wake up but it will be too late.

13. Bush and the repubs...
are trying to cover up their lies. Some repubs are trying now to play as moderates to keep their seats and if they win they will continue the downfall. A lot of these people won't be able to feel it until after the election or that is what the RepubliCONS are hoping...

18. And they look to Lou Dobbs, who pretends to be a fighter for the middle class
If Lou Dobbs gave a flying f*ck about the middle class, he would tell his viewers that the choice is obvious. Instead, he spends his entire show preaching hate.

he so obvious it is a shame, he seems to almost bust a gut showing his hatred and anger against Obama. I have been watching his phony independent/populist bullshit for months and some were believing this garbage. Usually he has a panel where its three against one including him...

he just came out swinging on Jon Kyl and never let up. Kyl couldn't even get a word in, and when he did, it was to admit that Britney Spears had eff-all to do with the campaign.

and they are able to manipulate through fear by demonizing the opponent very successfully. That's why it's smart for Obama to mock this early and often. He's touched a nerve, now time to go for the kill.

9. i know someone who won't vote for him based on his color.
i wish i could tell you the whole story but i'm still trying to figure it out myself. This person is related to me and the Obama thing was just part of it, it was a series of comments over the years and then one final thing that sealed it.

Anyhow i can't even express to you how horrified i was and i'm still not sure what to do.

12. i'm still trying to make sense of it, i'm not kidding when i say it was a shock because
really it shouldn't have been one. Have you ever had an epiphany? Well if you have that's exactly how is went down. I talked to my husband about because i was not so much as upset, that would kick in later but just full of confusion and anger. He talked me down and then he told me he was surprised at all about the whole thing.

14. We watched our neighbors move this past weekend
They lost their home. With the price of gas, utilities and food they couldn't do it anymore. The bank takes possession tomorrow. They are honest, hard working people and were so proud of owning their first home. No one either explained to them or they didn't understand a balloon payment and it makes me sick.

When someone won't vote for a candidate because he is black, I shudder. How can anyone expect to be treated equally? I get so angry these days so all I can do is keep working. We are doing pretty good at exposing the hate behind prop 8 but the racism is just as deep seeded as the anti gay. Sometimes I just hope help will come soon.

the same people who vote against their own self interests. I hear some of these same people complaining on the radio and tv about they don't have gas in their cars or how they have lost their jobs. Today we have some more news on the jobs lost and they still want more of the same.
