As Usual, Republicans/Drudge/ABC Are Driving the News: NYT Declares "Racial Issues Return"
Edited on Thu Jul-31-08 03:36 PM by Walter Sobchak
The US media has become so predictable it's sickening. Drudge was out in front of this line of attack posting the dollar bill with Obama's face on it early today. Jake Tapper, his reliable toady, was quick to chime in with commentary of how the "race card" had been played.

Now, the New York Times has given its Stamp of Approval to this meme with its story http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/07/31/racial-issues-return-to-the-the-campaign/">"Racial Issues Return to the the Campaign". The piece "reminds" us about how polarizing the electorate served to damage Obama in the primaries from March onward. It's featured prominently on the NYT website, and is the top story on Google News. Thanks for helping set the agenda on the next few months of campaign coverage, New York Times! Now we're sure to get stunning analysis on such important issues like "Can real Americans relate to this black guy" for the next 3 months straight!

This election coverage keeps getting dumber and dumber. And the dumber it gets, the better McCain's chances get. We could be looking at another 4 years of the worst administration ever.
