Obama Taunts McCain: "Is That The Best You Can Come Up With?"
31 Jul 2008 12:45 pm

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA -- Here's what Barack Obama said at the top his remarks on energy security:

"We want to have a serious debate. But so far, we've been hearing about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. I do have to ask my opponent: is that the best you can come up with? Is that really what the election is about? Is that worthy of the American people? Even the media has pointed out...that McCain has fallen back into ... predictable political attacks and demonstratively false statements... Spending all this time talking about me instead of talking about what he's going to do. That's not going to lower your gas prices. That's's not going...to help you find a job if it's been shipped overseas. It doesn't do a single thing to help the American people. It's the politics of the game. But the time for game-playing is over. That's why I'm running for President."....

4. Wow. He is really good, isn't he? I love it that he responds
quickly and forcefully, without using McCain's tactics. He has been pointing out over and over again that McCain apparently has NO ideas that would solve our problems. I think it's a brilliant strategy.

7. There is NOTHING a bully hates more than to be mocked
given that I think McCain is not the driving force behind this, but, rather, a willing participant in the mother of all slimefests, this will probably drive him nuts. Whether he blows his top at Obama for mocking him, or at his "advisors" for setting him up for it is immaterial. As long as he blows it. Then he has to be dragged off in a straitjacket and the pugs have to find another candidate...

     Alan Keyes!!!!

13. You are on to something
This may be calculated to goad Sen. McCain to saying something hot-headed while speaking off-the-cuff.

Perhaps one card the Obama campaign holds is Sen. McCain's own temper.

10. Excellent! as Bill Clinton says "every time they attack you it gives
you the opportunity to get your message out."

Only 2 things scare me now:
that the GOP will replace McCain, and
that the GOP will commit massive voting fraud (again).

intelligence and thinking ability with their negative approach to everything. Obama's move to force them to be intelligent will force them over the cliff. they can't. intellect was removed from the conservative/repub movement during the time of reagan and bush company destroyed any that was left.

they have no answers.

watch them start to have more and more hissy fits, get more and more nasty, and then try to steal the election.

i can't even call them petulant children, because i love children.

they're just useless assholes and traitors and complete idiots.

24. Obama is trusted in almost all issues
According to all polls conducted on the issues. Americans only trust McCain on 1 or 2 issues, while Obama takes the rest. No wonder why McCain resorts to inane ads such as the Brit/Paris one.
