1. Obama didn't get no stinking bounce over 10 points...damn, Only 7 in Penn
Poor GOP....nothing but signs of Landslide...McClunot going backward...not a clue as what to do...For all his experience he makes all the rookie mistakes...I guess his experience is limited to Babes, Booze and Bombs

2. A lot of GOP'ers think Obama is being undersampled, second the congressional and
senate races are not that close. How often does someone vote Dem for congress and republican for prez? So basically I think the numbers are better than they are being laid out OR the pollsters are PURPOSELY tightening up the thing; more than likely true.

3. McWhine needs ALL of these states to win. Not one or two. ALL of them.
I've been waiting for this poll. Looking good.

4. Great point!!
And, he needs almost ALL of the other states Bush won in 2004 - including Virginia, Colorado, New Mexico, Iowa, and Nevada.

6. He can still win with two but would be very hard with just one.

7. McWhine can win with two only if he also carries all the other tossup states.
Like Virginia, Missouri, Indiana, Nevada, Colorado, etc.

That's not very likely, because McWhine will have a resource issue: he can't possibly defend everywhere he needs to.

12. McCain MUST win FL and OH to be in the electoral hunt
Obama is winning all Kerry states. If Barack wins either FL or Ohio he will have over 270 electoral votes. If Obama wins both it is all but impossible for him to finish with less than 309-322 electoral votes, which is the low to moderate mark of a blow-out victory.

5. McCain knows his situation is worse than this... and it shows.
Add in the undercounted youth vote, unpolled cell phone users and a changing definition of 'likely voters'
plus the general momentum and it becomes clear why McCain is pulling out the desperation plays.
He's in a desperate situation and we're going to give him no quarter.
