Why Do All Of McCain's Surrogates Look Like Younger Versions of Cindy McCain?

I guess I should not complain, because even Cindy is pretty hot for a senior citizen, but it is kind of creepy. I noticed on MSNBC yesterday, CNN this morning, and most recently noticed John McCain's communications director today:

They all are blond, slim and fairly attractive. Its like the political stepford wives. I mean, have some diversity! Rather the just have another Ann Coulter clone, if you are going to go with a RW nut, throw in Michelle Malkin! For a person who is trying to outreach to other minority groups, you would think that McCain would go for a tiny bit of diversity in his campaign.

Is this a possible media strategy on the part of the McCain campaign? Get some Right Wing eye candy that is easy on the eyes, and the Big Networks will give them some air time whereas James Carville does not have the requisite hotness?

Sarah Palin is the governor of Alaska and a former Miss Alaska contestant who is a darkhorse for the VP slot. If she were chosen, John McCain would like like Robert Palmer standing with his surrogates.
