Kerry with Obama. Hammered and defined during the summer and fuc*d in the fall.

Unbelieveable. They are arrogant if they think they can let this all go unanswered.

12. From the end of 2006 through the early part of this year, all you heard
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 01:02 PM by ProSense
was how everyone was different from and better than Kerry at campaigning. Obama is the only one left standing, and now the cries are that he's the same as Kerry.

Kerry ran a great campaign. You can see from the comments about Obama how much second guessing goes on.

3. McCain has given them so much ammo
they have to start hammering him IMO.

McLame and his minions are guilty of flip-flopping on energy, on taxes, on lying about Obama and the Obama campaign and then guilty about lying about lying about Obama.

Steve, the fucking dirtbag, Schmidt is in full on Rove protege mode running Gramps campaign and Obama's folks need to get off the ground already, it's not like their short of cash.

9. Honestly no, I haven't
the media that I've been following hasn't bothered to cover it because they've got Milbank yapping about Obama's hubris and some tool at the NYT talking about how pathetic a Professor he was in Chicago.

Don't forget that the media were told my McLame that they had to be a lot harder on Obama because McSame was feeling left out and wouldn't invite them to another BBQ unless they got in line right quick.

Totally pathetic media coverage today, totally fucking pathetic.

Obama, IMO has to start putting out ads to get some coverage, they aren't going to bother picking up his town halls anymore I guess.

Obama says McCain is the risky pick
Posted: Wednesday, July 30, 2008 1:54 PM by Mark Murray

From NBC/NJ's Mike Memoli

SPRINGFIELD, MO -- Obama returned to the campaign trail today, guns blazing.

Responding to a barrage of attacks in recent weeks, he linked McCain to the Bush economic policies and claimed that it was the Republican nominee who was the “risky” choice in November.

“Nobody thinks that Bush or McCain have a real answer for the challenges we face, so what they are going to try to do is make you scared of me,” he told more than a thousand people at a high school here. "'He's risky' -- that's the argument... It's like, 'Well, we don't have very much to offer but he's risky.' And let me just say, it's true that change, change is hard. Change isn't easy. And the question you have to ask yourself is, 'What's more risky?’”

He added, "We are in a time right now where it is too risky no to change. It is risky to keep on doing what we are doing, to accept the tired status quo."

Obama focused almost exclusively on the economy during his half-hour opening remarks, including the high-energy costs. He challenged the notion that drilling was the answer to the crisis, saying the effort may not have an impact for 10 years, if at all.

“I know gas prices have gone down, it's grand bargain now $3.95,” he said. “Earlier George Bush was on TV talking about his energy plan. Now think about it -- where has Bush been over the last eight years? Where was John McCain over the last 25?”

7. So, instead of FURTHERING Kerry's counter to the swifts and his challenge to Bush
to stop hiding behind them, you chose back then to further the corpmedia lie that Kerry never countered the swifts?

Go to DU Research Forum and you will have the facts AS THEY HAPPENED at your fingertips, and you can relieve yourself of the burden of carrying corpmedia's water for them.

Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 03:50 PM by blm
especially since it was in front of the FIREFIGHTERS CONVENTION who had endorsed him. That had NEVER been done before.

And you want to claim that some calculated GIMMICK would have been met with welcome cameras and mics that a speech to Firefighters (post 9-11) did NOT get?

Would Obama BE the Dem nominee today if corpmedia DELIBERATELY ignored every speech he made to counter Rev Wright? If they HAD chosen to dig in and not cover those speeches.....

Kerry gave us PLENTY of ammo when he made that speech - the Dem pundit class, the barely existent left media and the left blogosphere did NOTHING to further Kerry's attacks on the swifts and Bush after that speech.

There are a number of journalists who are setting the story straight regarding the visit to the German Hospital. It is showing that McCain lied.

24. That's not what I am saying but look back at this post on Oct 5th and see
which candidate is seen and portrayed the patriot answering his call to duty and the other that is a cocky, arrogant neophyte in it for personal glory. That's the image being created now. Hopefully it won't be the imagine in Oct. If it is, it's because O's team hasn't fought back.

32. Apparently you didn't read the OP. I said his campaign is arrogant if they don't
feel they need to go after McCain. It's clear that McCain will lie, cheat and steal to win. They have Rove on board and the guy who made the ad against Harold Ford. Either the campaign is arrogant or naive.

Read a little closer next time.

actually i don't even know who you are calling arrogant here. I assumed it was the obama camp - but with that clarity you have, perhaps you are calling McCain arrogant and naive.

a few moments ago on Shuster. he prefaced that by calling his fast track energy policy disingenuous, repeated that several times for a dem congresswoman. did NOT mention that McCain's drilling plank would take years to have any effect. the congresswoman did, but was no where near emphatic enough about what a bunch of BS McCain's plan is.
