1. Did Bush actually say that about Kerry.
In that case, good for Kerry, his own opponent endorsed him.

3. He said it...as hard as it was for him
He had no choice but to say it! Too bad he looked like Fonsie from Happy Days uttering the words "I Looooovvveee youuuu".

It was weak at best....But it was something at least!

6. Shaking his head while saying it.
Not nodding in agreement, shaking in disagreement. Words do not agree with body language.

8. Can you imagine the reaction if Kerry made the ad....
Edited on Mon Aug-23-04 02:04 PM by kentuck
"Senator Kerry believes it's time to stop the negative ads. He disagrees with the Swiftboat ads that smear himself and other vets. George Bush says,'John Kerry has served admirably. He should be proud of his service.' John Kerry agrees with George W Bush about these people that lie about the military records of others." :)

Can you imagine??

10. Easy.
Something about how Kerry served admirably in the past, but this election is about the FUTURE.

Bush wins because he seems warm and respectful, whereas in reality, he's not.

Just use John McCain in ads -- people actually respect him and what he says actually matters.

12. Yes....they should get that in the hopper YESTERDAY!
what's happening is beyond disgusting

I even got hung up on by Laura Flanders last night

she had a PUG talk show host who was LYING about, distorting Kerry's record, and she was letting him get away with it; being very smug about it. I'd made a statement, was waiting to get back in, when this guy said the CENTERPIECE of his campaign was based upon four months' service in Vietnam. I started saying excuse me, EXCUSE me.....that's not TRUE! he served two tours. why can't you tell the TRUTH! He kept filibustering, so I kept raising my voice, so they hung up.

Ask me how PISSED I was.

She just let him keep making insulting, distorted assertions about his record. I couldn't believe it. dunno if they have archives, but I guess I'll check her ffffing blog and see if there are any.

11. Problem is, Bush has no credibility
So I don't think that would be a very effective ad.
