CNN just said "the media's love afair with Obama is over!"
When did it start?
CNN has done nothing but attack Obama for any reason or no reason at all. Did I miss the "love afair"?

What a gang of assholes!

1. I just heard that too - thank goodness I'm home alone because
I toss my dishcloth at the tv while saying, Yea whateva (eyeroll) and did it ever start?

2. It was over as soon as it looked like he was going to get the nomination.
As bad as it is now, I don't we've seen anything yet.

3. Can CNN not afford researchers?
You'd think the nation's first cable news network would hire people to actually research media attitudes toward the candidates, instead of taking the cheap route and recycling Pat Buchanan's talking points.

17. The corporate media is trying to elect a corporate President. They don't want ANYTHING to change in
D.C. Haven't you noticed that Pat Buchanan's talking points, the media's talking points, and the RNC's talking points are ALL THE SAME.

4. Swell.
So the talking bobble heads on CNN are going to get even nastier. Great. All the more reason to continue to not watch CNN.

5. This announcement was first made by
a republican operative (that Brad guy with the crooked nose) on MSNBC last week. It was very jarring to hear that stated so directly. I remember thinking at the time that it sounded like a signal being given.

7. There is no news as we once knew it (Cronkite, H-B, Rather). Every---every---network/show tries to
be a version of "Entertainment Tonight" or "The Insider".

Same with major "news" magazines, at least Time and Newsweek. Nothing but puerile pap.

16. I feel your pain.
Tell yourself it is their loss, and remember they are driven careerists, and probably not good prospects for the long term.
You can do better.
