campaign song
This is kind of a stupid question--but do Kerry and * have an official "song" to represent their campaign? I have not noticed one--and I have a friend who obsessively asks me about this every time she sees me--this is the only issue that she is interested in. (there are all kinds)

1. many Springsteen and U2 songs

1) "No Surrender" by Bruce Springsteen is usually played when Kerry walks on stage for a speech
2) "The Rising" by Bruce Springsteen is played at the end
3) "Beautiful Day" by U2.I have heard several times for Edward's.
Excellent music choices, IMO. Especially "The Rising", one of my very favorite Springsteen songs.

2. so it is definitely several songs--
and not one particular song? (she keeps wanting to know--has driven me quite crazy with this question).

What about Bush?--whenever I see a brief clip it just sounds like lots of country (I don't know that genre--so I can't differentiate who the artists are).

I agree that Kerry's music choices are quite good!!!

3. from what I've seen...
Those three songs I've listed are always played at a Kerry event. As for Bush's music, I have no clue and no desire to know what he picks as his theme song; at least he didn't pull a Reagan and use Bruce's "Born In The USA" when the song is actually anti-war :silly:
Kerry's music always gets me pumped up to kick Republican ass.

4. cool! you know your music!
I will tell her Kerry's songs--and she can figure out *'s on her own if she so desires.

thanks--I appreciate your help!

I have watched the clips from the campaign trail--but I honestly just don't pay lots of attention to stuff like the music--but I know it is always rocking!!!
