1. I saw something shiny at that spot during the live feed, but did not realize it was a screen.
Of course....the people in the distance would not have been able to get a look at him otherwise...

6. 200k people sounds about right
I have a copy of Live 8 Berlin which was held the same exactly area and the crowds looked about the same size. And they estimated the Berlin Live 8 crowd to be around 200-250k

7. Just try to imagine Gramps pulling in a tenth of that- Absurd!
The joke on here a couple if weeks ago was that they could hold the McCain acceptance speech in a McDonalds and they wouldn't even have to close the drive through.

10. Gramps really is Bush two.
Election cycle 2004, I remember watching a CNN clip of Bush in a cafeteria in Iowa.

He was attempting to shake hands with people there as they sat at their lunch breaks eating lunch. The workers there would shift away from him to avoid shaking his slimy paws.
