1. This is an historical speech
Not U.S. History, but WORLD HISTORY.

This man is going to alter the basic way that people all over the world look at themselves and the rest of the world.

We are on the brink of altering the way the world thinks.

7. How can anybody look at McCain seriously after this?
The entire planet is turning to Obama for leadership. If America gives the world McCain, we will become a pariah amongst nations.

13. He's looking more than just presidential - he's looking like a special President
If he can live up to one tenth of the promise he shows, he will be a very memorable president for decades to come.

14. I"m so jealous, you guys!! Stuck at work. :-(
I set the Tivo so I can't wait to get home and watch it... but how exciting, and thrilling, and it's so nice to see an American Leader travel overseas and not start riots and protests, isn't it?

Thanks for letting me share this historic moment, once again, with my DU Family! We've shared so many already, and I feel as though there are so many more to come.

Was it really as awesome as everyone says it was....? Hooray!!!!

20. Why should america be the world leader?
To date we have for the most part been the taker of the world. We have been doing this for decades upon decades.

How are we the nation of promise when we use most of the resources and energy , how does this set a good example as a world leader?

Look at China how took out model and how badly this turned out, they can't even breath there.

If we don't clean our act up first and once and for all then we have no business being the leader of the world.

Let me know when that happens.

21. We have a long way to go, to be sure.
We have to start, however, where we are. There is nothing wrong with aiming high and succeeding.

23. A long way to go alright!
We are talking about the world. And we can't even get this country on level ground. No there is nothing wrong with aiming high , but you also have to be realistic.

If we allow the bush admin and all the crimes go then this will be the first failure of a magnatude that will cause us to fail before we even start. The ME knows what we have done and are part of the world. They are not about to forget.

Our own country is far behind other developed countries in many ways so they are doing better than we are.

The bush admin has taken us back 100 years.

If the people of the US are not willing to work together then how can we expect the world to follow our lead?

We have a one party system , both sides of the same coin.

Eight years and yet we have not gotten on the same page to even stop this admin from destroying this country , not even a national strike like other countries , what we do is vote and hope that one person will step in and change it all. That is dreaming.

And he drew 10 times more people than Reagan's "Tear Down This Wall" speech.
