McBush's undoing will be the same as was Hillary's... They can't compete in the era of the Internet.
Neither Senator Clinton nor McBush ever quite grasped that you can't just make shit up in this day and age and expect to get away with it as was the case in years past. In Hillary's case, I chalk her "misstatements" up to her acting on exceedingly poor advice from Mark Penn et al, but in McBush's case, it's just an absolute inability to comprehend what technology is and is not capable of in this era. He simply doesn't realize that everything that he has said or done for the past decade or more is a matter of record, and that there are millions of people with the time and skill to expose his duplicity. He lies as if this were ten or twenty years ago, and expects that nobody will ever call him on it, because back then, nobody did. Even in that era, if an enterprising journalist were to discover some evidence of a rightist politician's malfeasance, their corporate overlords would quash the truth before anyone outside of the inner circle ever heard anything.

Hey McBush? This isn't 1980-something. It's not even 1990-something. WE ARE LIVING IN THE FUCKING FUTURE!

Yeah, the media is spinning like a fucking centrifuge trying to cover McBush's sorry ass, but in this modern world, that just doesn't cut it. CBS can shill for McBush, and pull a stunt that would have made Stalin prouder than shit, and think that they can get away with it like they would have in the old days... but this isn't the old days. In 2008, people call you on that shit. In 2008, anyone who wants to ascertain the veracity of a statement can get to the truth of the matter in mere minutes. In 2008, we have Tivo, YouTube, blogs, e-mail, etc. The old media, which used to do such a WONDERFUL job of distorting political coverage in favor of candidates who are favorable to their interests, has become largely ineffectual among voters under 50 compared to years past.

McBush is doomed to failure, because not only is he utterly unable to adjust to the changing technological realities of the modern age, he doesn't even know what is or is not possible using new technologies. Long story short, we can expect this loser to fuck up again and again, every time that he opens his mouth, because he is completely incapable of functioning in this epoch of what must seem to him like technological wizardry.

Good news indeed.

:)

7. I think he is just plain incapable of functioning...
See: military school, aviation ability, dedication to spouse, Congressional ethics, understanding the world, and not crapping in his Depends.

12. Hillary's campaign at least adapted, if not a little late. McCain should have
known, when he watched the Democratic primaries, how important the internet was. He has NO excuse. And Hillary's campaign was doing much better than McCain's.

13. MSNBC/Arizona Newspaper: Obama raises more money in AZ than McSkunk
That is right, Barack Obama did raise more money in June than McExlax in Arizona. Does not look good for McLoser...

14. Hillary was a much stronger opponent than McCain.
And I'm positive she, unlike McCain, is familiar with the concept of the internet.

15. "Hillary was a much stronger opponent than McCain."
You can say that again. No amount of Diebold, Ken Blackwell/Katherine Harris, MSM manipulation, etc. is going to keep Obama out of office, because this election isn't going to be anywhere near close.

GOBAMA!

17. I think I respect her more now because of that.
Even though I couldn't stand how she ran her campaign, she did put up a really good fight.
