As long as it is about Kerry, our side will always be on the defensive. But if Bush's record is the focus, he's the one who will be on the defensive.

The irregulars must give coverage to the regulars in this instance, but the regulars not only can but should move in this same direction. The hook to record is that Bush supporters are making these smears, in illegal coordination with the Bush campaign, and where does a draft-dodger get off trying that kind of dirty, illegal smear against a decorated veteran who volunteered for combat service....
