What do you expect from an Obama Campaign?
I post this as there seems to be some confusion regarding the position of our nominee. Please give details on whether you expected a Liberal, Progressive, Centrist or DLC position from Senator Obama and his campaign.

3. Obama is not an ideologue
He treats matters on a situation by situation basis. He is more about problem-solving than ideology. That is as I expected.

6. exactly - he's very sharp and seems to anticipate things very quickly
plus he came out of Chicago ward politics - that implies a certain savvy....

9. I appriciate that quality in Senator Obama as well.
I can't say I originally expected it of him when he started running, but I have been pleasantly surprised at both his pragmatism coupled with wisdom.

10. I have a pair of black dress shoes that I purchased back in
1995. I have taken them to the same shoe repair man over the last six years. He has told me that I'm not allowed to bring my favorite shoes in again. I think he is working with my daughter to shame me into discarding them, but I just can't. What are you going to do with your very favorite shoes that are worn?

8. I expect that the Obama Campaign to stand for the rules that have
guided this country for over 200 years. I expect that the Obama Campaign stand up for all the great tools we have been given from the founders of this country. That way no matter what direction most of this country wants to go, we can count on everyone having access all the time to the Freedoms that America stands for. Thank you for asking such a great question.

"sustainability" in a meaningful way at least once a day.

15. LOL - No. It's what has to happen. We as Americans have to come to grips with what we are in
reality, and the message has got to come from the top. If we wait another 30 years to heed Jimmy Carter's dead-on truths about our place in the world, we're screwed and we're taking much of the world down with us.

I expect him to fight hard during the election race. Not sure what I expect of him if he wins.

14. I understand that sentiment.
Many of us are just worried about getting him there, and figure we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Some think such a strategy will end up biting us in the rear. I admit that's possible, hence one of the reasons for this post.

Every day. And Obama better deliver it personally to my house. Then he has to sit down and play Halo 2 with me.

19. Chocolate cream.
It's like my kryptonite.

Also on Tuesdays and Thursdays Obama has to sit down and raid with my guild and I--he seems like a guy who would play a Holy-spec Priest and we need one to take down Curator in Karazhan.

I remember all kinds of Tolkien esoterica from reading the Silmarillion as an adolescent, so I'll withhold judgment.
