It's a shame that the question, "Is Obama REALLY a flip-flopper" isn't asked about McCain, too.

I find it disgraceful that the media gives Obama the label of "flip-flopper" and asks poll questions about whether we think he is or not, but doesn't even ASK if MCCAIN is a "flip-flopper" even though HE has changed his positions on so many important issues! The LEAST they can do is list the changes in position McCain made and then ask us if we think that makes him a flip-flopper or not. But they don't, since they're in the tank for McCain and the story lines have been set-the new guy who is a smooth-talking politician vs. the straight-talker. :eyes:

1. The media is the McCain Base.

What did you expect?

If we all could become
as agitated against the media
as we do on FISA or the New Yorker cover,
we might make a ripple.

I guess we won't figure this out,
until it is too late, unfortunately.

I'm working on media coverage,
and I ask that you join me.

3. Too many on OUR side still have faith in the m$m when it suits their particular outrage,
though.

I've bookmarked that page, btw. I'm going out of the country tomorrow and intend to start being more activist when I return at the beginning of August.

5. Enjoy yourself,
and get rest,
so that when you come back
you will have the stamina
that will be needed to
continuously respond to
McCain's base.

4. The media using the "democrats are flip-floppers" technique is well documented at this point
Why bother changing a narrative when it's so much easier to go along with it?

7. Obama should fight back with ADS showing all of MCCAIN'S flip-flops-even if it's just
a web ad. The media would probably play it and then they'd HAVE to start talking about it.

Doesn't it seem the time to strike on this would be early, while the iron is hot?

Wait too long and he's painted as the dreaded "flip-flopper" and McSame comes out smelling like a damn rose. Hell no! Start now. Drill that shit into people's heads. It seems that only lately people are starting to catch on to the fact that McSame is old. Apparently, people are slow. Starting early is the best bet. Give the "low information voter" time to process the McCain is a flip-flopper idea and handy audio/video clips to prove that point. Isn't there a great Youtube video along these lines?

10. I agree-he should start NOW before the label sticks to HIM but bounces off MCCAIN.
Obama's usually good at this type of thing. I think he's making a mistake by not tagging the label on MCCAIN.

9. Yes indeed, it is
Mc Cain flaps in the breeze more than any politician I can think of. If the Dem party honchos and DNC had the guts and foresight to get out there with the term first (tired and old as it may be) and tag it on McCain, that would at least help to diffuse it with respect to Obama.

And anyone who has to TELL you he is a straight-talker, well you know. It's like "Hi, I'm Karl, the honest used-car salesman".
