What happens when you select Ignore for your own posts?
It was my pleasure as a Texas precinct captain to send forward a representative of my caucus to vote for Obama. It has been a thrill hearing the brilliant Obama speeches where he demonstrated that he understood the issues. I have donated to the campaign, not huge amounts, but I have been there for Obama.

I was not there for Hillary, oh I would have voted for her, but I would not have smiled while doing it. You see, I hate being triangulated. I despise it when a candidate winks at me with the 'don't worry, I'm on your side, and just trying to fool the others,' wink. Why should I ever trust that wink when it shouts deceit for someone? And I hate it when I understand an issue better than the politician who represents me does. I might disagree, but I, for sure want them to have a clue.

Obama has shown brilliant understanding of issues. And a great record in Congress. Compared to the constant lack of understanding, and monstrous policies and constant lies of McCain where he votes against every good bill and then says he was for it, the choice is clear for anyone who has ethics or is awake at the wheel.

FISA has really upset me. Taken away a hero. Crushed my enthusiasm. Destroyed my faith. I will be voting for Obama, you can take that to the bank. As far as anything else, I think it is time for me to shut up. Edwards, Dodd, Kucinich or Clark as VP might wake up my enthusiasm. Till then I am not holding my breath.

This is me, taking my binky, pouting and stomping off to my room. I know it is really childish and immature, believing in oaths of office and the Constitution. How very 1974 of me.

2. Please sir more
Politicians should define their positions and stick to them. When politicians change their minds, they should point out why they are acting in new ways.

If this takes the shine off Obama, I can accept that but I ALWAYS THOUGHT he was a man. He explained his new position. I don't buy it, but the explanation is there.

You can believe Obama or not.

I ain't mad at you for the sparkle leaving so soon. Obama is a politician doing what he thinks is politically feasible at this moment. Time will tell if he works his way toward his campaign pledges.

Congressional Democrats seem to like giving Bush what he wants. What can we really do about it?

3. What can he really do about it? He can LEAD instead of being a follower.
He can stand up against what he said a very short time ago he knew was wrong.
