Steve Benen at Carpetbagger Report has been accumulating a list of McCain flip flops. He's now up to 62 cases of policy reversals by Senator McCain. A couple examples: National Security Policy 1. McCain thought Bush ’s warrantless-wiretap program circumvented the law; now he believes the opposite. Article has links verifying each flip-flop:

You are right. Even though disappointed in aspects of our Candidates, and Reps. and Sen., I still believe the Democrats need to win, instead of the Republicans. I truly wish the Democratic Party had as part of its platform, the increase in Democracy and Oversight. The Dems. that voted Yes on the FISA Immunity did us wrong. I like some of those Senators. I wish they would have voted Nay!

26. It's more popular to rant right now, or attack people for ranting. Like I've said before..

I'm fine with that, because I like to rant too, it feels good to vent.

But *in addition* to venting I think we need to try and ensure a Dem victory this November. Not because the Dems are perfect (that's a laugh) but because we KNOW the alternative is worse. Besides, I'd much rather donate to Act Blue than Nader or Barr.
