I have an TV interview with Elizabeth Edwards tommorrow.
What questions would everyone like to ask her? I have never asked for questions before and thought I would try it!

2. What is the role of a First Lady? Should they be leading voices of policy
or should they be back ground noise and photo ops?

3. I'd love to know why John is such a hawk
on Iraq , when the failed policies there clearly most affect those Edwards claims to fight for- the middle class. It is the middle and lower income households that provide the cannon fodder for this escapade in imperial adventure.

We lost two more of our kids this morning. Two kids a day to keep Haliburton in the chips.

6. Her father's family is from the same town in PA that my father's family
came from, Marianna, Pennsylvania. I never knew that there were residents there of Italian descent before (her maiden name was Anania).

Has she ever been to this tiny town before? I know I feel a connection to Elizabeth - maybe we are distant relatives.

At any rate, tell her she is loved by all who see her and get to know her. I think she would make a terrific second lady (and maybe someday a first lady).

7. What does she think the primary concerns of most Americans are?
Does she think the efforts of the Bush campaign have addressed them?

8. have her talk about how they came to have more children
I think their response to losing their son is so human and so much a manifestion of their hope and belief in the world. I believe it is a point of deep connection with people's hearts. It is a way for people to feel who Elizabeth and John Edwards are.

9. How should compassion
affect policy decisions?

I know there is a reality that has to be dealt with, but is it possible to come from a place of compassion with regard to issues such as national security, maintaining a vibrant economy, how to prosecute a war, etc?

I'm especially interested in her view on this because of her experience of the loss of her son, although I probably wouldn't bring that up (depending on the circumstances).

Thanks for asking

10. She should concentrate on women's issues
What does this woman, successful in her own right,
see as THE issues facing women right now and what
are her husband's solutions to the challenges?

Kerry/Edwards have been so military oriented
that these other pressing issues aren't addressed...
at least anywhere other than the website.
