A modest suggestion for Hillary's possible role in an Obama Administration!
I don't believe that she should be a VP choice. Without enumerating, there are too many negatives and too few positives as far as I see. The one negative I see as one of the biggest and most unfair would be the snarky innuendos from the far right pundits that would have Bill and Michelle doing some hanky-panky (and you KNOW something like that would be inevitable). I also really like the idea of a Barack Obama/Wesley Clark ticket.

My suggestion would be for Hillary to get the HHS job with ONE mandate from President Obama (doesn't that feel good to see & say?) to GO OUT THERE AND GET UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE! I think she'd LOVE a rematch with the insurance companies.

What do you think?

PEACE!

1. Hillary gets plenty of money from those insurance companies.

2. Uhm, no!
Hillary is in bed with those companies. I thought she might make a good Secretary of State, but don't know after that fib she told about Bosnia. However, how about Secretary of Defense? I'm thinking that the good old boys military could use more female representation at the top and she would be very concerned about those soldiers in the war, the returning vets and where the money being thrown at the military is going.

3. Uh...
Hasn't she got connections to the defense industry too? I remember protests over the NDIA and a fundraiser they held for her.

5. Yeah, but I don't think you are going to find a place for
her where she doesn't have ties to corporations. In the military, at least, it wouldn't be as detrimental and costly as in health care and education. The military today couldn't get any more costly. It might even be good because then she would be forced to do some oversight. No bid contracts would become a thing of the past because you know the "liberal media" like Fox News would be dogging her every move trying to catch her at any hint of corruption and favoritism.

6. OK.
So how about we just not find a place for her.

7. I'm for that but you know that isn't going to happen.
The Democratic Party and Obama will have to recognize a place for her in history it seems.

8. I don't think that at all.
I think there's a damn good chance there will be no role for Clinton, and she'll fade away to the political obscurity she deserves.

18. Perhaps.
It's the reality where Clinton was a shoe-in for the nomination. And lost it. And enjoyed widespread talk for the VP spot, and even that's become a joke over here in my reality.

Yours?

4. A nice but unthought out sentiment
She's totally about the health insurance companies getting the max they can...not going bye-bye like the malignant parasite industry they are.

14. I thought she had an important job as junior Senator from New York.
I guess being a Senator isn't important.

Time for fresh ideas.
