Obama/Fallon anybody? How about Obama/Clark?
Edited on Wed Jun-25-08 08:21 PM by Cascadian
It is my belief that Obama is going to need a person with some considerable military experience as a running mate. I can think of two names former Admiral William Fallon and former General Wesley Clark. A VP with military leadership experience will hush the naysayers about Obama's lack of leadership as a Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Armed Forces. I initially thought of Jim Webb but what of the comments he made degrading women years ago? That could hurt Obama as he tries to woo the feminist vote who backed Hillary. My choice are between Fallon and Clark. What do you say guys?

3. Heal? Heal? Just what do you mean by that???

Just kidding....God, I'm gonna get an ass-chewing now....

Clark's cool with me, he brings plenty to the table without drawing from our good pool of sitting Senators.
I liked Biden but he was pretty clear a few days ago about his wishes.

Has Clark given any indication, is he receptive?

4. Jimmy Fallon does NOT get the Vice Presidency...
...and I'm still pretty pissed off that he'll be replacing Conan O'Brien in 2 years.

5. Clark does it for me
He makes the ticket stronger while not taking away any key seats from the Democrats. Also unlike other picks he won't become a distracting story at least that I can see at the moment.
