BushCo and 4 years as C n C...new talking point...?

I was watching Crossfire today...about the only show I watch now on CNN and they were referring to military service...Kerry vs BushCO...and some right-wing senator defended BushCo saying that not only was he in the TANG...but he has also "served" 4 years as Commander in Chief compared to Kerry's 4 months in Viet Nam...and I heard this used again on another channel also...

So to me it looks like the righties are going to try and use this to say that BushCo actually has served longer then Kerry...did anyone catch that today...?

And remember, John Kerry's naval service was 4 years, not 4 months. NEVER let anyone get away with this "only four months" crap in conversation.

John Kerry served in the Golf of Tonkin for a couple years before requesting Swift boat duty. He then served 4 months in the river, where he was wounded 3 times and -- as is NAVY POLICY -- moved back to a non-combat position for the duration of his second tour.

I'd love to see them trying to equate 4 years in the Whitehouse with 4 years on a cruiser in 'Nam, let alone the time on a Swift boat.
